Blackening Spice Rub

Use this spice rub on chicken wings, tofu, fish, anything you want really. I usually triple the recipe so I’ve got a bunch of it on hand.

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Ground mustard
  • 3/4 tsp White Pepper
  • 3/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tbsp Paprika Can sub Smoked for deeper flavor
  • 1/2 tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Jane's Mixed up Salt
Servings: 1 tsp servings
Instructions
  1. Mix all the spices in a small mason jar and shake well. Feel free to triple (or more!) this recipe to keep extra on hand.
