I made this recipe for the first morning of Sage’s January Retreat. It really turned out yummy and nourishing for the ladies as they begun their day working on editing their lives.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Rolled Oats
- 3 1/2 cups Almond Milk
- 3 tbsp Chia Seeds
- 1 large Banana, mashed about a cup
- 1/2 cup Coconut Cream
- 2/3 cup Chopped Walnuts
- 5 tbsp Agave more if you like it sweeter
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
- 3 tbsp Fresh ground Flax Seeds
- 1 tbsp Vanilla
- 2 tsp Nutmeg

Instructions
- Add almond milk and oats to a large pot and bring to a boil. Once boiling, drop down to a light boil and be sure to whisk often. Cook about 10 mins.
- Next add banana, chia seeds and coconut cream and cook another 5 mins. Keep an eye on your liquidity, you might need to add a bit of water once the chia seeds start to absorb the liquid.
- Lastly, add the flax, walnuts, agave, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and sea salt. Cook just another few mins till incorporated and serve. Can top with a bit more cinnamon and agave if desired.
